AI Disclaimers

Jura AI uses artificial intelligence to assist legal research and drafting. These disclaimers clarify exactly what that means and what it does not.

Last updated: 01 August 2026

1. No legal advice

Outputs from Ask Jura AI, the AI Legal Drafter, calculators and any other Jura AI tool are research and drafting assistance, not legal advice. Only a qualified advocate licensed to practise can give you legal advice. Nothing generated by the platform creates an relationship between advocate and client with Jura AI.

2. Verify before filing

AI can make mistakes, including hallucinated citations, misstated statutes, or outdated law. Before relying on any output you must: check every citation against a reporter (PLD, SCMR, YLR, MLD); confirm the statute is currently in force and unamended; and verify calculation dates by hand. A generated document must be reviewed and signed by an advocate before it is filed.

3. Citation and good law status

Case citations flagged as "cited" or "good law" reflect the state of our index at generation time. Treatment by higher courts can change at any time. The Good Law Checker is a research aid; it is not an authoritative citator and does not bind any court's determination of precedent.

4. Calculators

Court fee, stamp duty, limitation and markup figures are computed from published schedules but may not reflect the latest amendments, local scale orders or your court's practice notes. Confirm amounts with the relevant court office before paying fees. Failure to verify figures will not excuse late or short payment.

5. Confidentiality of inputs

Do not upload privileged client communications or information subject to protective orders, unless you have confirmed it is appropriate. Guest sessions are not persistent, but transmission over the internet is never absolutely confidential. Use the platform's access controls and your firm's policies for sensitive matters.

6. No assurance of outcome

Any prediction, probability or merits assessment is an analytical estimate informed by historical data. It is not a promise of outcome. Judgments depend on facts, evidence and the court's discretion in ways no model can fully anticipate.

7. Professional responsibility

You remain responsible for every document you file and every opinion you give using our tools. Jura AI cannot and will not accept responsibility for acts or omissions in your professional practice. When in doubt, consult the Pakistan Bar Council's rules for lawyers and clerks on the use of software in practice.
