1. About this policy
This Privacy Policy explains how AlphaNestTechnologies ("we", "us" or "our") handles information when you use the Jura AI mobile application and the Jura AI website at juraai.org (together, the "App"). Jura AI is a legal utility app that provides tools such as legal calculators, law comparison tools and legal reference material.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2. Information We Collect
We currently do not collect any personal user data. The App does not require an account. We do not operate a backend server that receives or stores your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts or any other personal information.
Some features save your work so you can return to it, such as recent comparisons, calculator inputs and preferences like theme. This information is stored only on your own device and is never sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing the App's storage in your device settings, clearing your browser data, or uninstalling the App.
If we collect personal data in the future, for example through user accounts or cloud sync, we will update this Privacy Policy before that happens.
3. How We Use Information
Because we do not collect personal data, we do not use, sell, rent or share personal data with anyone. Information stored on your device is used only by the App on your device to provide its features.
We do not show third-party advertising, we do not use advertising identifiers, and we do not use your information to build profiles or train AI models.
4. Data Security
All connections made by the App use encrypted HTTPS. Because your data stays on your device, its security also depends on your device. We recommend using a screen lock and keeping your device software up to date.
No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the App and the content it delivers.
5. Third-Party Services
Optional AI features. Some tools, such as "Ask Jura", offer optional AI-generated answers. These work only if you choose to enter your own API key from the AI provider Anthropic, and that key is stored only on your device. When you use these features, the text you submit is sent directly from your device to Anthropic to generate a response. It does not pass through our servers. Anthropic processes this data under its own privacy policy. If you do not add a key, these features run on your device and nothing is sent.
Hosting. Our hosting provider may automatically record standard technical logs (such as IP address, browser type and request time) to deliver the App securely and prevent abuse. We do not use these logs to identify you.
6. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for legal professionals, students and adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we begin collecting personal data in the future, we will update this policy before doing so to explain what we collect, why, and how you can control it, and we will change the "Last updated" date above. Where required by law, we will ask for your consent.
